Operation

During Carousel, your objectives is to collect item and gold than a specific champ. In general, trying to catch a higher value champ and sell this champ after completing the first battle and trade in 1-gold champs. Try to collect champ who shows up in pair or more, so you will soon be able to have a 2-stars champ by merging three 1-star of himself/herself.

Keep your target item in your mind and go straight for!

 

Recommended Line-up for early game:

Put it on the champ who is more likely to sustain till the end of the battle.

 

 

 

 

Consideration for level up and rolling new camps and when to do it

In general, before level up or rolling new champs, you should consider:

  1. When you end a battle, you will have 1 gold as interest for every 10 gold in your balance, and the interest caps at 5 golds. Saving is very important and encouraged for your early game. Try not to spend too much on rolling before you have 50 golds.
  2. After completing the 1st battle, if you have two or more 2-stars champs, a strong line-up or powerful items, consider to spend 4 golds for increasing your team size to 4 for a winning streak .
  3. In the battle against Krugs, when you shutdown one of them, the other 2 will recover. The tactic here is to place most of your champs near the one isolated on the right. If you have less than three 2-stars champs, try to reach level 5 for a better chance to win.
  4. If you are on a winning streak, and you need a multiple of 4 golds to level up e.g. 6/18, and your balance is 42 golds ( 30 + 12 ), either level up or continue to save until you have 50 golds.
  5. When your balance reach 50 golds, some players will start to roll for upgrading their 1-gold champs. Considering you need 4-golds 2-stars champs for completing a strong line-up, try to reserve 50 golds for receiving the maximum interest as return. Level up when you have more than 50 golds and pay to roll when you reach level 7. For extreme circumstances, e.g. your HP is running low, and you fail to maintain consecutive win or lose for bonus gold income, and your line-up is comparably weak, you can start to roll as early as level 6. However, it is less likely you can come back in such situation.
  6. After reaching level 7, try to keep earning interest while pay to roll for enhancement until your line-up is in shape, being able to beat majority of your opponents. Then, increase your team size for further enhancement. If you go for a 8-champs line-up, but your HP is too low, better push yourself to reach level 8.
  7. Level up always after completing the bonus monster stages in the mid/late game to earn more interest.

 

Tactic for Rapid Attack

This is a pressing tactic for achieving winning streak in the early game. In general, you reach level 5 at stage 2-3 or 2-4, and level 6 at stage 3-1. Try to craft item which can reinforce your team in the early game.

e.g.

After reaching level 6, start to roll and keep the balance above 30 golds. Stop when you think your team is strong enough. Level up to 7 at stage 4-1 and roll for champs matched your line-up. Stop when you think your team is strong enough and reserve golds until you can reach level 8.

 

Tactic for Low Profile Players

Damage increased after the release of v9.15. This encourages player to become low profile.

Recurve Bow is necessary for majority of line-up. Intend to lose battles consecutively is a tactic to be the first one to choose an item.

 

Build your team with 3 Pirates to earn more golds and start enhancing your team strength after the 3rd recruitment stage for retaining HP. Other fundamental tips are as below:

  1. Build a 7-champs line-up for higher sustainability.
  2. Standard bottom line for HP is 50. Pay a little to roll at level 6 and level up to 7 at stage 4-1. Stop when your balance reaches 20-30 golds.

 

Objectives to keep in your mind during the Carousel:

  1. The one for crafting strong item.
  2. Critical 4-golds champ for enhancing your line-up.
  3. The last one for upgrading a 2-stars champ.
  4. A champ with the right item for completing an advanced item for himself.
  5. High value champ.

 

Line-up

Line-up composed of similar series give you flexibility to change to another one depending on your roll. For example, when you are changing from a 7-champs line-up to a 8-champs one, you are probably looking for a AOE champ or a champ who is 2-stars 4-golds or above. Let me introduce you some common line-up.

Noble

6 Nobles line-up becomes stronger after the update. There is no absolute counter against this line-up. When player’s damage decrease, converting to noble line-up can be a work around. Ranger/Blademaster/Gunslinger can be shifted to Noble line-up easily. Most Nobles are cheap, keeping them will not be a threat to early economy. Ionic Spark works with Noble line-up very well. You can equip it to Lucian.

Item is so important that even if your line-up is in shape, having weak item can’t help you beat other opponents with strong item. The drop-off of items is totally random, no logic behind. Assassin Positioning

Please your line-up diagonally to your opponents. Non-Assassin at the back, Assassin on the front. Opponent will move toward your backline and make room for your Assassins to jump in. 

Positioning for Special Line-up

Against Assassin Line-up

1. Countering Assassins on the opponent side, place your team diagonally right at the front of your opponent, prevent your backline champs move away from their original position. 

2. If your opponent’s Assassins are on the backline, wrap your main damage carry with tanks.

 

Against Sorcerer Line-up

1. Please your team diagonally to your opponent.

2. Split your team to the sides.

 

(Weak to Assassin)Against Ranger Line-up

1. Place your team diagonally to your opponent, make your opponent move towards you so Kindred can cover less allies with his spell.
